Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried enjoyed a wonderful rookie season in 2011-12, but due to the NBA lockout he never got the chance to shine in the Las Vegas Summer League. That's all about to change, however, as Faried and fellow 2011 draftees Jordan Hamilton and Julyan Stone are set to make their summer league debuts along with Evan Fournier, Quincy Miller, Izzet Turkyilmaz and others.
The Nuggets open their five-game 2012 NBA Summer League schedule with a 4:00 p.m. contest against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, July 14 at COX Pavillion in Las Vegas. The Warriors burst onto the scene in Vegas by blitzing the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night, 91-50. Harrison Barnes and Klay Thompson combined to score 47 points on 10-12 shooting from three-point range, so it will be interesting to see how the very talented Nuggets roster handles those red-hot shooters on Saturday.
If you want more information, here is the Nuggets' summer league roster and their complete schedule of games.
