Mitchell Guist - the History Channel star who appeared on Swamp People alongside his brother and passed away on Monday following a fall from his boat - died of natural causes.
So states the official autopsy for Guist, E! News confirms, though Sheriff Mike Waguespack of the Assumption Parrish Sheriff's Department in Louisiana says "more details will be released when the final report is made" in four to five weeks.
Guist was pronounced dead at Teche Regional Hospital in Morgan City on Monday, not long after falling into the water from what appears to have been a cardiac incident of some kind.
He left behind his brother Glenn, a fellow alligator hunter on Swamp People.
