PCG Announces New Clients, Staff and Awards
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (January 31, 2013)? If public relations firms were anything like football, Perry Communications Group (PCG) would surely make it to the Super Bowl. Having just announced new sponsors (clients), a new depth chart (promotions) and new personnel (employee) in December, PCG continues to set the PR playing field.
Starting this week, PCG has a new home in Park Tower in the heart of downtown Sacramento, across from Cesar Chavez Park. PCG was previously located in the 925 building on the corner of 10th and L Street.
?It?s great to have some elbow room so we can accommodate a larger team,? said Kassy Perry, President and CEO of Perry Communications Group. ?Unlike other teams who we?ll avoid naming, but we all know who we?re talking about, we are committed to staying in Sacramento.?
New clients this year include Firebolt Films and Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation. The firm will continue to work on a variety of health care issues, particularly relating to Medicare and health care reform.
In addition, PCG recently hired Morgan Palilla as an Account Coordinator. In this capacity, Palilla will support senior staff with public relations projects for PhRMA, Fan Freedom Project and Our SALUD. Palilla received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Chico where she majored in Organizational Communications and minored in Marketing. Prior to joining PCG, she worked in the Office of Assemblymember Beth Gaines. Palilla will be found rooting for the 49ers on Super Bowl Sunday.
Earlier this month, the Sacramento Business Journal released its much-anticipated Book of Lists. The Book of Lists includes the hottest area companies in their respective fields. PCG was ranked amongst the best public relations firms in town, earning the sixth slot for bringing in $1.2 million for public relations and public affairs services in 2012.
