Good for her! She said it all when she said, "life is too short," in regards to live her life without living out on of her oldest dreams.
So Oprah's been going through scripts, and talking to producers and directors, to find the perfect project for her to take a shot at Broadway after her long-time talk show ends on May 25th.
"I have a stack of plays in my bag right now that I am reading. And just this past weekend, I was in New York meeting with producers. We were just talking about what would be the best route to take. But yes, this is really going to happen. ? Life is too short. I think that an ensemble production is the way I should go.
I had always wanted to do Fences. I went through the idea of trying to take my show to New York, shoot a show during the daytime and appear on Broadway at night. But I couldn't do it. And finally, Kenny said he couldn't wait any longer."
We have no doubt that you're going to get it done, Oprah. Not only that, but we have faith in your tastes, and that whatever you choose will be fantastic with you behind the wheel.
We honestly can't wait to see what decision you make!
Just have fun with it at this point!
